Collaboration with Jaakko Pallasvuo continues
Placeholders (for tattoos), 2010
This installation was realized at Detroit Gallery, Stockholm in April as part of the exhibition Borders curated by B-galleria. Our work comprises of an animation and an installation of the objects used in the animation. Zines, drawings and collages were also included.
On the opening night of the exhibition I made a Seinfeld related performance. Jaakko got a hesitant line tattooed on his left arm.

Mike Mills on careerism
Transcribed to my journal from a Mike Mills interview written by Momus for 032c magazine:
"Charles Eames speaks very radically quoting Lazlo-Moholy-nagy, with whom he probably studied, saying that medium categorizations are just a product of capitalism. They have nothing to do with the huma spirit and the soul and being creative and living our life. Are you a graphic designer? Are you an illustrator? Are you a sculptor? Are you a filmmaker? Are you an artist? Those lines are 20th century manmade art school constructions and career constructions. Moholo-nagy's manifesto is all about dismantling that."
Bravo, danke.
